Check the URL before retrying

A supported link must point to a specific post status (containing /status/ and a numeric ID). Avoid pasting profile URLs, search feeds, direct messages, or third-party wrapper domains.

Check post visibility on X

If a post is private, deleted, suspended, or geo-restricted, third-party downloaders cannot access the media. SSSXVid strictly respects platform privacy settings.

Understanding audio and format notices

If a video was recorded without sound, an MP3 cannot be created. In such cases, SSSXVid notifies you and makes the MP4 video available instead.

Contact support for assistance

If an issue persists with a public post, email support@sssxvid.com with the public post URL and a brief description of what happened.

Questions users ask

Why is the X (Twitter) video downloader not working?

The most common causes are an invalid post link, a private account, deleted media, or an expired download session. Check the troubleshooting table above for the exact fix.

Why does a public Twitter link say invalid URL?

The link may point to a profile, search page, or hashtag instead of an individual post. Copy the specific status link from the post's share menu.

Can a downloader access a private Twitter post?

No. SSSXVid only processes public posts on X to protect user privacy and credentials.

Why did a previously working post stop downloading?

The tweet or its media may have been deleted, set to private, or temporarily restricted by the original creator on X.

What if my video has no audio?

Some Twitter/X videos are recorded without sound. An MP3 cannot be extracted from a silent video, but the video itself can still be downloaded.

What should I do if a download times out?

Wait a few moments and paste the public link again. Temporary server or network delays usually clear quickly.

Why does a download button say expired?

Download sessions are short-lived for security. Simply submit the URL again to receive a fresh download button.

Why is Download ZIP unavailable?

The ZIP archive option appears when two or more photos are present in a post. For single photos, use the individual download button.
