X (Twitter) Video Downloader Not Working?

Use this page when a video download from X, formerly Twitter, fails, returns no media or stops at a render or token state. The symptom matters because an invalid URL, protected post and gateway timeout require different actions.

Check the URL before retrying

A supported request points to one public status. Remove tracking parameters if needed, and do not paste a profile, search result, list, DM, vxtwitter or fixupx wrapper URL.

Check the post on X

If the post is protected, deleted, suspended, age-restricted or unavailable in your region, a public-link downloader cannot reliably return the media. SSSXVid does not bypass those states.

Check the result state

A queued render is different from a failed render. NO_AUDIO_TRACK means there is no source audio, while an expired token means the result should be requested again.

Contact support

Email support@sssxvid.com with the request ID, public status URL and a short description. Never send passwords, cookies or private page source.

Questions users ask

Why is the X (Twitter) video downloader not working?

The common causes are an invalid status URL, protected or deleted post, unavailable media, a gateway timeout or an expired token. Match the error to the troubleshooting table before retrying.

Why does a public Twitter link say invalid URL?

The link may be a profile, search, list or third-party wrapper instead of a status URL. Copy the specific post URL from the X app and submit it again.

Can a downloader access a private Twitter post?

No. SSSXVid only accepts public status posts on X and does not ask for login cookies.

Why did a previously working post stop downloading?

The post or media may have been deleted, protected, restricted or changed upstream. Check the post on X and request a fresh result.

What does NO_AUDIO_TRACK mean?

It means the returned video has no audio stream, so an MP3 cannot be created from that source.

What should I do after a render timeout?

Wait briefly and retry the same public status URL. If the timeout repeats, include the request ID in a support email.

Why does a download button say it expired?

Download tokens are short-lived. Submit the URL again to receive a new result and token.

Why is Download ZIP unavailable?

The image set may contain too few or too many items, or the total size may exceed the archive limit. Download the images individually in that case.
